Prices for Full Groom (for a dog whose coat is in reasonable condition)

Smooth coat, small breeds eg Chihuahua £18-£26
Long coat, small eg Shih-Tzu £25 -£33
Medium dog eg:spaniel, Cockerpoo £28-£35
Precise cuts eg:Bichon Frise, Poodle £28-£35
Large dogs eg Labradoodle £30-£38

We also offer just quick wash from £10, wash and blow dry from £ 17 – just ask!

Some just dogs cost more …

Our price list above is based on dogs that have received regular grooming and whose coats are in reasonable condition. If your dog’s hair is matted, the grooming will take longer, and therefore cost more. Similarly, a sculptured style will take longer than a shorter trim.

We may charge more if your dog is uncooperative or timid, because they take more time and need more breaks, so as not to cause distress, as well as using more products or putting more wear and tear on the clippers.

Heavily Matted Dogs

Very occssionally a dog comes to us that is very badly matted. We will spend as much time as is humanly possible trying to get the matts out, but there comes a time when it is too painful or too time consuming to continue. With your permission we would then clip the hair completely to restart natural healthy hair growth.

Matts are very painful for dogs – (Imagine having lots and lots of knots in your own hair, then getting the hairdresser to pull them out with a comb!) In this rare occurance, full grooming fees will apply.

Cancellations

Please give at least 48 hours notice for cancellations. If we arrive at your chosen destination and you are not there, we will invoice you for our time.

Evening and Weekend Appointments

We can provide evening and weekend appointments, that’s the joy of being mobile!

Veterinary Care

If we perceive your dog to be ill and requiring immediate attention by a vet, we will take them there immediately. This cost will be covered by you, along with any treatment required.

Flea treatment

If your dog has fleas, we charge an extra £10 for the special flea shampoo and of treating the van to prevent flea infestation afterwards.

Giant and Larger Breeds

Due to the size of the van and equipment, some really big dogs, just won’t fit.

Aggressive Dogs

You must tell us if your dog has bitten anybody before, or if your dog is likely to be nervous or aggressive. We may use a soft muzzle for protection. If your dog is too aggressive or poorly socialised, we may have to refuse to groom them. Travelling costs will apply.
